Enzo Alert Studio

YouTube connection privacy policy

Effective October 22, 2026

Enzo Alert Studio is a personal desktop stream alert application operated by Enzo Alder. This policy describes its YouTube connection.

Access and purpose

With the channel owner's permission, the app uses the YouTube API Services with read-only account access. It reads channel identity, existing active broadcast and chat information, supported live-chat support events, and available public subscriber information. Data is used to identify the approved channel, detect supported events, prevent duplicate alerts, recover connections, and display alerts chosen by the owner in OBS.

Normal chat messages are not used as alerts. Supported events can include supporter display names, event identifiers and times, membership details, gift counts, and monetary amounts and currencies. Some information may be unavailable because of YouTube privacy settings or API limitations.

Local storage and display

Google app credentials and access and refresh tokens are encrypted using Windows DPAPI for the owner's Windows account. Normalized event records, playback history, subscriber identifiers, and connection checkpoints are saved locally on the owner's computer. Local event files remain until the owner removes them; deleting playback history alone does not erase those files. They are not published by this information page.

Alert content is intended to be shown to viewers when the owner independently chooses to broadcast or share their OBS output. The app itself has no broadcast-start controls.

Sharing and protection

The YouTube connector communicates with Google to obtain and refresh authorized access and read supported API data. It does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, send it to AI model services, or forward it to the other platform alert providers. The public information page has no analytics scripts, forms, or account connection features. Its hosting provider may process ordinary website request metadata.

Access to this Windows account and its local files should be protected. Encryption and access restrictions reduce risk; no software or service can guarantee absolute security.

Control and deletion

The owner can pause YouTube listening in the local app and revoke its authorization through Google Account permissions. Revocation prevents future authorized access but does not erase previously saved local records. The owner can stop the app and remove its local YouTube credential, event inbox, settings and related playback records to delete retained data. Support is through the channel owner via Enzo Alder's website.

Google policies

Use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. See also Google's Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms of Service.
